CHP Community Center

Mission Statement

 
The CHP Community Center was created to support students, families, and the surrounding community by providing access to essential resources in a welcoming and organized space.The center currently offers food pantry items clothing, shoes, baby items, hygiene products, household goods, and other donated resources. Our goal is to provide support with dignity while also building long term support around sustainability, education, wellness, and community engagement.
 

What We Offer

The CHP Community Center currently provides:


  • Food pantry items, including non-perishables, fresh produce when available, frozen meals, and snacks
  • Clothing for children, teens, and adults
  • Shoes and accessories
  • Baby and toddler items
  • Hygiene and personal care products
  • Household goods
  • Seasonal resources such as coats, school supplies, prom/formal wear, and holiday items

⏰ Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

⏰ Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

Donations

We appreciate donations from families, staff and community! At this time, donations may only be accepted during approved donation windows to ensure items can be properly inventoried and stored. We would prefer majority children clothing items if possible.
 

Donation items may include:


- Gently used clothing and shoes

- New hygiene products

- Baby items

- Nonexpired pantry items

- Household essentials

- School supplies


Please do not donate:


- Broken items

- Heavily stained or damaged clothing

- Expired food

- Opened hygiene products

Events + Programs

The CHP Community Center will continue expanding beyond resource distribution by introducing workshops, student programs, community events, and volunteer opportunities stay tuned!! Please stay up to date on our Linktree!
 

Upcoming and future programming may include:


- Clothing swaps

- Community repair days

- Cooking demos and budget meal workshops

- Sew + Grow afterschool sewing and fashion design club

- Upcycling and creative reuse workshops

- Seasonal resource events

- Volunteer sorting days

- Family engagement events

Volunteer Opportunities

The CHP Community Center relies on organized volunteer support to help sort donations, prepare resources, assist with events, and keep the center running smoothly. Volunteer opportunities may be available for students, staff, families, churches, community groups, and local organizations. Please reach out if you have any questions!
