Class of 2024 Overview

 

Class of 2024 and Parents/Guardians:


Congratulations! You are about to embark on your senior year, the culmination of your academic efforts. We are excited about many important events that are part of your senior year, which is why your senior class sponsor, Lauren Davison, would like to ensure that you are well informed and prepared for these events.  Our goal is for your senior year to be the most memorable of your high school career and we look forward to working with you.  


Seniors, be sure to check your Class of 2024 Schoology Page on a weekly basis to monitor for updates. Additionally, parents and students can sign up for Remind messages with updates by texting the phone number 81010. In the message type in @8daf6hg3d9 and click send to join the class. You can also join via a computer at https://www.remind.com/join/8daf6hg3d9.


Below you will find a list of senior-specific dates, senior dues and payment deadlines. Senior dues are non-negotiable and non-refundable.  In order to be financially cleared to participate in graduation, seniors must pay senior dues directly with the senior class sponsor or online where you will receive a written receipt to be considered paid in full.  Please note that in addition to senior dues there are a few outside costs that will be incurred by seniors and their parents such as field trips, prom tickets, class rings, senior portraits, etc. 


Important Dates


  • Junior/Senior Prom- May 10th, 2024 @ the Waterfall Room, 2791 Southampton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154, 7:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Senior Work Submission Deadline - May 29th @ 7:45am
  • Notification Day - June 3rd, Students will be notified if they met all graduation requirements, & to pickup cap/gown, diploma, graduation tickets, yearbook, etc. 
  • Graduation Practice - June 4, 2024 @ ABCCS Auditorium, 12:00 - 2:00
  • Graduation Practice #2 - June 5, 2024 @ Auditorium, 9:00 - 11:00am
  • Senior BBQ- June 5, 2024 @ ABCCS Upper Field, 11:00 - 1:00pm
  • Graduation- June 7th, 2024 at the Aspira Bilingual Cyber Charter School, Auditorium, 6301 N. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19120 @ 1:30pm
    • Only eligible students who meet all graduation requirements prior to 6/3/24.
    • Summer school graduates are not eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.
